St. Patrick's Day which falls during the Christian season of Lent, Irish families would traditionally attend church in the morning and celebrate in the afternoon. In America it is a day for green shirt wearing, mass consumption of beer and good times.
We can not wait to introduce our new song "Meadow" on this festive day. Maybe the drunk ears of the masses will love it? I hope so. We are playing at Larry's Beach club in Oceanside and will introduce the song there.
"I realise I have had really good times on this day," said guitarist Sam Fox. "Last year I spent it with work friends and tried (failed) to kiss a girl whom, I later dated. And the year before that was the great time spent in London complete with strip clubs, pub hopping, and belligerent fun. This year should be fun too playing with Aggro Crag on St. Pattys day. Don't get much better than that."
The rule for tonight at Larry's is: Guinness only!!! Doors open from 7 pm to 1 am. Aggro Crag plays at 9 pm. Hula Guns, Craigslist Killers, and Shocks of Mighty are also playing.

AGGRO CRAG CRACKS TOP 10
Aggro Crag is growing rock band in Oceanside. The rock/PUNKY band has penetrated the top ten rock bands in Oceanside. With more than 1,500 plays and with 1,064 widget impressions, the band is pleased and grateful for the rapid success to this point.
"These are just number," said guitarist Sam Soares. "What really matters is the amount of people coming out and choosing to come see us because they want to."
Aggro Crag will play their first show, since their hiatus of recording ("Walking to Vegas EP), at the Royal Dive Bar in Oceanside. Metalachi, a metal marachi band, is headlining and the bar is predicting record attendance.
We spent all day recording this EP and we are all VERY proud of it. First and foremost, we would like to throw a big shout out at our friend and producer Joe Tran! Without his help we would have just some low production audacity recording. Thanks Joe!

"There was a gap in recording and we were bored as hell," said drummer Calem Cowell. "Then at the end of the day we find out there was a N64 sitting upstairs. Damn! where was that all day?"
"Walking to Vegas" is Aggro Crag's first EP. With many more to come, Aggro Crag is adamant about meanings behind every title.
"Well, acid in the ally was certainly in the mix," said sing/bassist Andy Trusty. "But everyone in Aggro Crag has a say and the vote was no. I was bummed. No doubt Calem picked a good one."
The meaning of the "Walking to Vegas" remains unknown to the public....

FIRST RECORDING SESSION
Guess what we are doing February 2? You named it, we are recording our first EP. Aggro Crag is proud to announce that three tracks will worthy of the recording: "Second Friday", "Blah Blah", and "Misconnections". Aggro Crag has only been play together for about four months and is excited for their session with independent artist and producer Joe Tran.

So it has been a couple of practices and we have come up with some killer riffs and a couple of songs. Andy and Calem have been writing lyrics as they go. Sam is busy with his family business, San Diego Fox Auto Group, but contributes to most of the composition. First song Aggro Crag came up with is called "Second Friday".

AGGRO CRAG FORMS
Guitar player Sam Soares and bassist Andy Trusty have known each other since middle school but were reunited thanks to a Craigslist musicians ad. Drummer Calem Cowell also found the band off Craigslist. We think it needs to be renamed cragslist!
Since our first jam session at what is now called the "Aggro Complex" , there was an unspoken acceptance of the gritty-classic-magnetic-energy sound that resounded through the walls on that fateful night on September 7, 2012.
